Teen actor and boxer, Javon Walton was among the first costars of Cloud who took to social media to express the sadness following the former’s demise.
Walton, who played Ashtray in the HBO series, shared a picture of the pair together on Instagram. Later in another post, the teen actor wrote,

Another costar to express the grief was Storm Reid who plays Zendaya’s on-screen younger sister, Gia Bennett in the show. Ried wrote,
The tears just won’t stop.
Likewise, Katherine Narducci, who played Cloud’s on-screen grandmother Marie O’Neill, on Twitter, wrote,
…gentle beautiful soul. You exited too soon.
Euphoria’s director Sam Levinson connecting with various US media outlets said,
There was no one quite like Angus. He was too special, too talented and way too young to leave us so soon.
Levinson added,
He also struggled, like many of us, with addiction and depression. I hope he knew how many hearts he touched.
The director concluded with
I loved him. I always will. Rest in peace and God Bless his family.
The official page of the HBO network, too, paid tribute whilst describing Cloud as an “immensely talented and beloved part of the HBO and a beloved part of the HBO and Euphoria family.”
Outside of the Euphoria costars, those who paid tributes were The West Side Story’s actor Rachel Zegler, Scandal star, Kerry Washington, singer and actress Chloe Bailey, and British model and actress Suki Waterhouse.
please remember how loved you are.

Model Gigi Hadid also went online to express her sadness. Hadid, who starred with Cloud in a 2022 Christmas campaign for Ralph Lauren Fragrances, shared a clip of the pair dancing together. In the caption, the mother of one wrote,
I only got to work with him a couple of times but I was immediately drawn to his kind gentle spirit.
Cloud’s death was confirmed via his representatives just a few hours after the actor’s death. Angus’ mother had made a 911 call to Oakland PD at around 11:30 am on Monday.
Did Angus Cloud Die From A Drug Overdose?
Angus’s mother reportedly claimed that Cloud’s death was from a “possible overdose.” She also reported that the actor didn’t have a pulse. Although a confirmed report on Cloud’s death is yet to come, many speculations have been pointing toward drug overdose as the cause of death. As such, the family revealed the actor had been dealing with suicidal thoughts for about a week. This apparently resulted in Cloud’s father who passed a couple of weeks before the current tragic incident.

Furthermore, Cloud did have a reported history of overdosing on drugs. Some months ago, the actor’s former manager Diomo Cordero did mention the late Euphoria star’s severe drug addiction.
Cordero also said how at one time he had to perform CPR on Cloud after he was struggling to breathe following a prescription pill overdose.
