Did Taylor Suffer Domestic Abuse In A Relationship?
Yes, Taylor battled domestic violence in a relationship but not in a romantic one which means none of her partners abused her as claimed by some online sources.
Based on her revelation in the 2nd Wind podcast, she actually grew up with her parents who had substance abuse problems. So, it’s her childhood that suffered abuse, not her love life. Due to her past bad experiences, she now actively speaks for the survivor of Domestic violence, either male or female. Back on July 15, 2021, she voiced against violence against males on her Twitter and tweeted,
Domestic Abuse is not limited to women. Keep the same energy when it’s a man who is a victim. It can be extremely difficult for men to talk about physical, emotional, mental, financial and/or sexual abuse because they are met with jokes and judgement. Abusers are wrong, period.
She actively advocates for those survivors who went through some tough times in their lives.
