Annie Wersching who played in the shows like 24, Timeless, Bosch, The Vampire Diaries, Runaways, and The Rookie has died at age 45. The Saint Louis Missouri-born actress lost her life on Sunday morning in Los Angeles.
Since the sad news, many celebrities and family members have been expressing their condolences. Wersching appeared on dozens of television shows. Her acting career spanned more than two decades.

Wersching passed away on January 29, 2023. Announcing the sad news, Wersching’s husband, Stephen Full, who is also an actor said,
There is a cavernous hole in the soul of this family today.

The widow of Wersching added,
But she left us the tools to fill it. She found wonder in the simplest moment. She didn’t require music.
Full also talked about how his late wife was always teaching them to find adventures rather than wait for them.
Wersching’s husband also mentioned his wife’s ability to find wonder in the simplest moment and her proclivity to dance without requiring music.
Annie Wersching Cause Of Death
For the time being, the insiders have named cancer the main cause of death for Wersching. Deadline reports the five-foot-seven-inches tall actress knew about her diagnosis in 2020. However, Wersching continued to act. She was though getting treatment.

The surviving members include her husband and actor Stephen Full, and three sons, Freddie, Ozzie, and Archie. There’s also a GoFundMe page so that people can support the family. The GoFundMe page aims to collect $250,000 in the hope that the amount can cover the educational expenses of Wersching’s sons.
The page also says Annie was a private person and that the actress didn’t want to talk about her health condition out in the open. It, therefore, is still not clear what sort of cancer Wersching had and ultimately the real cause of her death.
Wersching Life And Career
Annie Wersching was born in St Louis Missouri and was the daughter of parents Sandy and Frank. The Milkin University graduate’s first major role was Amelia Joffe on the ABC soap opera General Hospital. Her debut on the screen however was in an episode of Star Trek Enterprise in 2002. At the time, Wersching was 24 years old. Following that, the mother of three played FBI agent Renee Walker in the seventh season of 24 in the year 2009. This would turn out to be her major breakthrough.

In the subsequent years, Full’s spouse would have appearances in shows including The Vampire Diaries, Marvel’s Runaways, The Rookie, Supernatural, Cold Case, Charmed, Killer Instinct, and others.
During her final days, the dancer turned actress was working on the Disney Plus show, Star Trek: Picard, second season as the Borg Queen. She simultaneously was also playing the recurring character of the serial killer named Rosalind Dyer in the ABC crime series The Rookie.
In addition to her TV roles, Wersching also worked as a voice-over artist for the games The Last Of Us (Tess) and Anthem.
